Disability History Museum

— Website
The Disability History Museum is an online experience and website that allows users to search thousands of digital artifacts that document the history of disabilities such as blindness and deafness, and many other forms of physical disabilities. The educational section of the website provides tools and lesson plans for teachers to bring the history of disability into the classroom.

Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI)

— Natural Resource Funds Publication System
NRGI and Columbia Center for Sustainable Investment conducted a world-wide survey of natural resource funds, looking at their management, investments, transparency, and accountability to the public, as well as the fiscal rules that govern them. We created an extensive series of policy briefs and country presentations.

— Financial Report 2007–2008
Planning for future generations is closely linked to Yale’s mission. Beyond environmental goals, “sustainability” is embedded in the very heart of Yale, as is the understanding that the actions we take today will have consequences well beyond the lifetime of those making the decisions. We designed this report to highlight Yale’s innovative and educational sustainability efforts.

Good Shephered Services, a mission-driven youth development, education, and family service agency in New York City sustained excellence during a period of rapid expansion of its services. We created an annual report that featured participants in pathways to graduation programs and other community-based services, alongside typical images of New York City.

— In-room Guest Booklet
Instead of presenting a guest with loose informational sheets upon arrival on this remote Caribbean island resort, we designed a laminated and spiral-bound booklet that provided a comprehensive overview of what to do on PSV—or not to do at all.

After we created the first website for PSV, we were asked to design the marketing brochure, for which we art directed a photo shoot on the island. To be different from other similar brochures, we decided to use an image for the cover of a plant native to the island.

The GSS Transfer High School Model fosters success among under-credited students who have previously dropped out of school or been chronically truant. We designed a four-fold brochure to provide information for the community GSS serves in New York. This brochure was part of a larger publication system.

During the 2005–2006 program year, Good Shepherd Services was able to expand community-based services dramatically, particularly in public schools in Brooklyn and central Bronx. We designed the annual report around the theme of “Building Momentum.”
