Parsons School of Design
Logo Identity and Promotional Mailers
Designlounge was approached by the Photography Department of the Parsons School of Design in Manhattan to create a logo identity, a website, as well as a series of marketing and promotional materials to showcase the work of BFA and MFA photography graduates.
Above are the covers of the broadsheet-sized promotional mailers for the BFA and MFA photography graduates. The mailers showcased student work that appealed to an audience looking for what is in the photographic frame as well as what is outside the frame. Readers were invited to interpret the meaning of abbreviated headlines, or in other words, to look for additional meaning “outside the frame.”
We designed a website to showcase the work of participating graduates, and subsequently updated the portfolios for several years.
Each graduate had the opportunity to include 9 portfolio images. Users were able to sort the images based on photographic categories.
