Riverdale Country School
Academic Publication and Identity Exploration
In collaboration with the Head of School, we designed The Riverdale Learning Experience, a publication offering a comprehensive overview of the K–12 academic journey. Signature programs that define a Riverdale education were distilled into a single page per grade—creating a clear and cohesive narrative across divisions. We art directed a photoshoot to visually anchor each grade’s defining experiences.
Building on this work, we extended key graphic elements from the publication into a speculative identity exploration—testing how the academic framework could inform a broader visual system for the School.
The “X” in LX symbolizes the four areas of learning: Humanities, STEM, Arts and Music, and Special Projects.
Each grade is described by using the four areas of learning.
Identity Exploration
We proposed several sketches and concepts for a new Riverdale Country School identity, laid out and printed in a newspaper format.
Think+ / Build+ / Share+ / Reflect+
The visual exploration centers around the “X” in eXperience.
The visual exploration is meant to be as experimental as possible.
